I upgraded to IE7 on the only one of my older machines that I sacrificed to Vista. The tabs are nice ,but the new position of favoirtes/history took some getting used to. I also don't like the way Vista in general tries to overprotect you in the security department; the defaults are very restrictive and the OS dosn't make it easy to find where to turn things off. And the IE7 phishing filter makes pages take a longer time to load.
