Wed, 13:35: Trying to get out. I carefully picked it up, checked it over, took it outside, waited with it while it recovered & then WATCHED IT FLY OFF!!
Wed, 13:38: I wasn't sure if the bird was hurt or not, but when it finally took off flying... ah, just made me so happy. Got a cheer from a dude nearby.
Wed, 13:39: Now I have to figure out what kind of bird it was. It's gonna bug me if I don't. ;-P
Wed, 14:08: The bird was probably some type of wren, but I'll check my birding books when I get home. Waiting here for my new car stereo to be installed
Wed, 15:26: I have no idea what kind of bird that was this afternoon. Every time I think I have it figured out, I find pics or info that contradict it.
Wed, 15:28: It was an adorable little light brown finch/sparrow/wren type bird with some white markings on it, maybe 5 inches long at most.
Wed, 15:29: I got to hold the bird and help it. Beyond that, it's not really important. I got to help it and that made me feel good. :-)
