::yawn::

I really don't have anything interesting to say, but I felt like posting, so... Hi FList! ::waves::

Wait - thought of a couple things... my new 'puter should be arriving in a few days - a Dell Dimension 8400. Whoo-hoo! And [livejournal.com profile] quinn222 and I figured out how we can use our old hard drives with our new 'puters, 'cause she just got a new Dimension 8400 too, and discovered the old hard drive and new computer aren't compatible. Which can be a pain when you have almost 80 gig of data to transfer. Okay, well not nearly all of that is data, but you know what I mean. Quinn managed to get her stuff transferred the old fashioned way, 'cause she's smart like that, but lucky me - I get to benefit from her knowledge and won't have to do that.

I am now the proud owner of a copy of Wake. And for the record, even though someone else taped it for me, I paid the PPV charge. 'Cause I wanted it to be all legal and shit, you know? But anyway, I may have some screen caps for y'all in the not-too-distant future.

Better get to bed. Family coming for dinner tomorrow. Two siblings and their spouses and kids. Oh joy... a house full of kids. I love every one of them, but not really all at the same time. Can be a bit much, ya know?

Nite all.

Well, I'm replacing an 8100. It's just too slow, and Windows ME is giving me problems, and I loathe RD-RAM. Hopefully by the time they made the 8200 they'd found out that RD-RAM was crappy and got rid of it.

I can't wait for Windows XP, better memory, a bigger hard drive, all that stuff... ::happy sigh::
