Ugh
Sick sick sick. Finally going to the doctor this afternoon. Started as a head cold, but has progressed to the point where it could be: 1) a sinus infection; 2) strep throat; 3) bronchitis; or - my personal favorite - 4) all of the above. Heh. Except - I don't have a fever. Go figure.
Had a horrible scary asthma attack last night. Could NOT breathe. Did this wheezing thing over and over and couldn't catch my breath. Scared the shit outta me.
Also...
I looked in my throat, and on the left side there's this huge white thing... this clump of solid white... crud or ??? Mom says it's pus - that pus can look kinda solid sometimes - but it's freakin' weird. And feels weird. Like you've got a piece of food stuck in your throat and you can't get it to go down. But I swear it looks alien or something. Ewwwww.
And now for something not about me...
Ah fandom. Those on my f-list who are not in the QAF fandom won't know what I'm talking about, at least not specifically, but it happens in every fandom now and then. Sock puppet? Not sock puppet? One non-sock puppet? Two non-sock puppets? Sharing info from an f-locked post? Nothing new really. But it involved people I care about on both sides, and I just feel kinda sick about the whole thing. And rather disappointed.
Wheezing shout-outs to all my friends that are sick or injured too... there's a whole bunch of us right now. May we all get free happy pills and feel better soon.
