Need movie recs

Let's pretend ::cough:: that I've seen practically no new movies in the past 6 years. I just joined Blockbuster Online, and I need recommendations. What (other than The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) do you recommend? I like romance, but not too mainstream. I like drama. I like some sci-fi. Anything with a gay theme will go to the top of the list. But I'm open to anything you want to recommend.

So how about it?

ETA: I knew this kind of post would get a fair number of responses, but wow. Now I might have to actually keep my Blockbuster Online membership. LOL You can keep reccing, but I think my list is long enough for now, and plenty of them are currently available too. Thanks everybody!

Right now it's cheaper than Netflix. I think the have an intro special for 2 weeks free and then $17.95 a month as opposed to Netflix's $21.95. Plus you could help someon out with their freeiPod thingy.
