Volcano watch

Apparently Mount St Helen's in Washington State is erupting again. It last erupted on my birthday, May 18, 1980. Mom was watching the news and just came in to tell me. Found this on a quick search:

Apparently it's not dormant. ::shrug::

So you're May 19th... I'll have to remember that. :-) Should be easy enough to remember... hehe

My city is under an "ash watch" but the newscasters here seem to think it is unnecessary. They are saying there was more steam than ash this time around.

I wasn't here when the eruption occurred in 1980. Good thing too...my allergies would have eaten me alive! :)

We have a perfect view from our back yard! It was very cool to watch. I'm in NE Vancouver (WA), which is pretty close. I don't think we are on "ash watch" because of the way the wind was blowing.
