Updated my VNS diary last night, in case anyone is interested. I'm doing pretty good, all things considered.

Still haven't got my fanart site back up - mainly because I'm just too damn picky.  Hopefully I'll have it up before I go on vacation next month.

Ach!  That reminds me!  I need to find a new co-moderator for galerandylove. Obviously I should post a message over there, but if anyone sees this and is interested, send me a note.

Oh - trailer for Gale's movie "East Broadway" is up on the Tribeca Film Festival site.  Click here.  Gale looks gorgeous, for the most part, but I'm just not buying the romance in it.

Mainly just approving new members. Which just means checking their profiles to see if they have their full birthdate in it and that it indicates that they're at least 18. But I really should post over on GRL and give others a chance to voice in on it too. Been meaning to do that for a month now, but I've kind of had a lot going on. LOL

Ok, the kiss isn't anything to write home about. The chemistry didn't do it for me. And the biggest problem I'm having is......she is no where near as hot as Randy. Oy, it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. heee heeee I said tricks. See what I mean.

Glad you are doing pretty good, Jen. When do you think pretty good will become good? I've been meaning to ask. Do you feel mentally any different? Or is it just too soon?

Too soon. We're still gradually working the 'dose' up to where we want it. Just getting to the optimal strength (dose) will take another couple of months. Remember, it's possible I won't see measurable results for as long as 18 months from now. But I'm not going anywhere. After all this time, I can wait a little longer.

As for the kiss... she's not as hot as Randy or Steve Sandvoss. ;-) And as I mentioned to another friend, their kiss reminds me of some of the kisses that Brian has given Michael. 'Nuff said, right? LOL

I added you to my friends list, just to let you know. I have a VNS implant for depression, too. I got it in December 2005. I'm not sure, but I think it might be starting to work. I've been able to lower my antidepressants without much of a negative effect... expcept for the short withdrawal period. I was a little nutty then. =p

Hi! Just friended you back. So you've had it since Dec. and you're already lowering your antidepressants? That's fantastic. I'm not expecting to be able to do that for quite a while yet.

Did you check out my VNS Diary? There are some links on it to a couple of message boards and to a Yahoo group specifically for people using VNS therapy for depression.

My LJ is usually pretty boring IMO, just to warn you. My posting has been pretty sporadic for the past several months. Not sure if that's VNS-related or just depression-related. Probably both. Heh. Anyway, welcome!
