What a day...

So, the day starts at 3:30am when my brother calls saying my 3 1/2 month old niece is in the hospital - having trouble breathing. She'd been to the pediatrician yesterday and was diagnosed with bronchiolitis. Which can be a precursor to RSV - Respiratory Syncytial Virus. Which is often deadly in infants. I think there's some link between SIDS and RSV, if I'm remembering correctly.

Luckily, she does not have RSV, but she does have to stay in the hospital another night, just to make sure she's breathing okay.

So... I get online to check my email. I have eBay set up to automatically notify me of any new products that have Gale Harold, Queer as Folk, and QAF mousepads (or something like that) in their description/title. Not because I want to buy anything, but because I've had my QAF wallpapers stolen and sold on eBay as mousepads. Well, I open up one of my eBay mailings, and there are 6 of my wallpapers for sale as mousepads again. Selfish thieving idiots.

I've already notified the seller and eBay, and gotten preliminary notes back from both. The seller said they would remove the items, but they haven't yet.

And to top it all off, Squidge is down. So when I emailed eBay, referencing my QAF wallpaper page as an example of my claim to the images, they couldn't get in. And I can't get in to remove my wallpapers or anything. ::sigh::

Not a fun day.

On an up note, I am definitely going to StarFest (Denver, late April) with drkcherry, mlleelizabeth, sugarrush2003, peach1250 and several others. Michael Rosenbaum will be there. Mmmmmm. It's gonna be so much fun! I never get to go to things like this! Yay!

Well, off to check eBay and Squidge again. Wish me luck.

I've been to Denver before. I loved it. How fun! I love to get together with groups and hang out. We should plan a Nor Cal QAF party. ;)

I've been to Denver once before, but it was work, work, work. No fun at all. This time will be fun!

Thanks re: the family. You always worry when a family member is sick enough to be hospitalized (as you know), but it's especially hard when it's a sweet, helpless little baby.

No, but Ms. R.... and I have been in communication about these images. I am sure she will let you know whats going on with them if you ask her. Thanks for the concern.

I do understand about family being ill..even the little ones. Unfortunately my life has held a lot of experience with tragedy and difficult moments. Support and prayer helped get me through and I gladly extend the same to someone like you and your family who need it. *hugs*
