Peeps - if you're bidding on any Brian clothing items on eBay, check out Patrick Antosh's forum here. There have been some fake items up, and there's at least one that's up now that is almost definitely a fake (you can see the pic of that item here if you're curious... but come on... Brian in tighty-whiteys?? And Patrick doesn't recognize the brand name on them? Uh-uh).
ETA: I'm not saying you should go bother Patrick about every clothing item that comes up. With a little common sense you should be able to tell which items are obviously the real thing, and which are questionable. If the items are recognizable from the show and still have their tags from the set sale attached, then chances are you're fine.
Also, to the person who won this poster... before bidding it up to $124.50, you might have checked eBay a bit more carefully. There are at least two identical posters up for auction, and they're currently in the $10 - $40 range.
To everyone bidding on Brian's 2 (x) ist thong... at least Patrick verified that it does appear to be genuine, but what the hell are people thinking when they bid an item so high when the auction still has 6 days to go? I know in auto racing they do recognize the driver who spends the most laps in the lead, but even then, he doesn't win unless he's at the lead in the end. Being the top bidder continuously for 6 days - especially if you have to keep increasing your bid to stay there - doesn't mean you're going to win. ::shaking head:: You're just making it cost more for yourself.
Now, I'll admit I'm trying to get something from the set sale off eBay too (which isn't easy when you're not rich), but does anyone else think it's starting to get obscene? Why didn't CowLip auction some of this stuff off for charity instead? I mean... DUH!! Think of the money they could have raised! Seems like a no-brainer to me, which means even CowLip should have been able to think of it. Guess they couldn't be bothered.
