BTW, did you realize that if someone reads your posts in their LJ inbox (meaning they get notifications whenever you post) or they go directly to your post via a link, they never see whatever text you used for your LJ-cut? So, like, if your LJ-cut text includes important information that isn't otherwise included in your post, that person will never see it. (That person would be me, since I have a notification set up for anyone important to me and read all new messages in my LJ inbox. Maybe I should stop doing that.)
