Feeling better and other good news...

My cold seems to be doing better today, thank god. And I just got back from my doctor's appointment, and everything looks good. The blood test that indicates where the cancer could possibly be coming back showed "undetectable" levels. Can't get much better than that!
He did mention how thyroid cancer can recur even 15 or 20 years later, but said that if it does, it's usually very slow growing and easily treated. So that's good.
You have no idea how good it makes me feel to have a doctor who is knowledgeable and whom I trust treating me for this. I've had some lousy doctors in the past, but my current one has my complete confidence. And that is a great comfort.
Ummm... what else? Still got crap loads (according to the LJ spell checker, it's either 'crap loads' or 'crap-loads'... I'll have to remember that since I've always written it 'craploads') of graphics to make for people, and screen caps to do, and ... well, I'm not going to turn this into a To Do list.
Good news is - I'm feeling better and in a good mood, for the moment anyway ::grin:: and might actually be somewhat productive tonight. Yay me!
I might even catch up on some of my email! ::gasp::

Date: Thursday, February 6th, 2003 06:14 pm (UTC)Oh, and the LJ spellchecker? Doesn't know a lot of words, so you have to add them in as they pop up. Like "fandom" is not in the spellchecker automatically. Isn't that funny? ;-)
I might even catch up on some of my email! ::gasp::
Liar. *g*

Hey! Hrmph. Just for that, you're not getting an email. And just for the record, I did catch up on a few emails. Just not all of them. LOL
BTW, I might get to see Xanthe when she comes to California. ::nyah nyah::
Too bad your thing in San Diego wasn't a little later in the month.

Hee! A comfort-gram *and* a shameless plug, all in one! I'm on a roll here. ;)

Well, mine has been going on for over 11 years now. Things have been pretty good for the past few years as far as the cancer itself is concerned. But I have other health problems partly caused by the surgery and radiation that will always be with me. But they're not fatal. :-)

Oooohhh... bad me. I didn't send feedback yet, did I? Will email you privately. My feedback always sounds stupid. hehe
