First, if you don't know what I'm talking about, you can see more here, and specifically here.

So, I just got off the phone with Artist Arena and with Crush Management.

Crush was no help at all, although that's apparently due in part to me calling at lunchtime while everyone is out of the office. The receptionist didn't know anything about anything and told me to send an email to info@crushmm.com and someone would "probably" get back to me.

The call to Artist Arena was a little more interesting. I don't think the guy took me seriously at first, but when he asked where I'd heard that they weren't doing the show, I told him I'd talked to Ryan personally. He suddenly had to put me on hold at that point. He came back on the line pretty quickly though and said that "Mr. Ross" was mistaken and should check with his management. I asked if that meant that Crush Management didn't bother to tell their artists when they scheduled them for shows, and the guy replied saying something to the effect that "Mr. Ross" didn't really know what was going on most of the time... that he didn't even know what was happening two weeks ahead. I personally think it's out of line for a promoter to say something like that about an artist to a fan (a *customer*), but whatever. No big surprise, really. Just confirms my opinion of Artist Arena.

In any case, I'm going to email Crush and tell them that if they want all of us to believe that the band is really definitely for sure doing the show, then they need to get one of the band members to confirm it publicly. That doesn't seem like too much to ask, does it?

That's kinda bad what they said about Ryan to you tbh. They shouldn't say that sort of stuff to a customer as such really.
I mean, they can't know what's going on if no one tells them what's going on. Or make desisions without them. But it wasn't just him who didn't know about it. It was Jon too so.

But yeah. I hope crush do email you back. I hope you get it sorted out I really do. It's unfair on you, other fans AND the guys.

Thanks bb. BTW, I just noticed that Jon deleted his comment about the show. Interesting, huh? We'll see...

(I know Jimmy and Bex, just so I don't seem totally random and stalkery lol, they often mention you, so I was curious)

I'm not surprised Ryan often doesn't "really know what was going on most of the time", but that doesn't give that man the right to say that. It's very unprofessional. Might be worth mentioning it if you do manage to get in contact with Crush.

I hope you do get some sort of answer, because it really shouldn't be this hard to get a proper 100% confirmed answer about whether they're playing or not.

How does Artist Arena continue to fail so badly? Like, they didn't learn the first time when no one could understand their announcements and rules for the M&Gs, and instead of going, "Gee, maybe we should be more clear!" they continue to send out replies that make little sense.
