All of my QAF fanart has been removed from my website, and at this point I have no intention of putting it back up. Or making anything new. I've just had it with people who have stolen my hard work and tried to claim it as their own - some of whom are supposedly fellow fan artists. I'm not going to go into detail about what happened this time - mainly because I'm too nice to name names - but I refuse to leave myself open to this particular type of rape anymore.

It *hurts* when I see something I worked so hard on get ripped apart and claimed as someone else's work. This is supposed to be for fun. It's not fun at all for me right now, so I'm getting out before I get kicked in the teeth *again.*

To those of you who have been so supportive of me in the past, I thank you and I'm sorry it's come to this. To those of you who obviously don't give a damn about the time and effort that goes into my fan art - the piece of *ME* that goes into my fan art - well... what goes around comes around.

That is fucking bullshit. You should name names! How dare they? You work so hard and make such wonderful manips and they just take things that don't belong to them? I can't understand that. That's just incredible that someone feels they can just help themselves to it.

I wish I knew better html for you. There was a page that I wanted to copy a pic from (your standard right click save as) and it wouldn't allow me! I just wanted to save it to look at later. But the page was protected. I would do that for you, if I could.

I hope that karma gets those thieving fucks for taking your stuff. I don't know why people feel the need to steal. I agonized over a storyline once, after having started it, I read someone else's story and the premises were the same. Not the same story, but essentially the same plot. I emailed her and begged her forgiveness, saying I didn't steal, but read her story just recently, after starting my own. She acknowledged it was a common plot line, and didn't think I'd ever steal her work, as I did write my own. I even gave her credit, for just having a similar story, but not having stolen it. But out and out thievery deserves to have fingers cut off. Cut off all the fingers except the ring fingers. They have the least amount of strength, which is why you should pat your make up with those fingers, they won't poke you. Yep, you should do that.

And to the thieving fuckers, you're going straight to Hell, and not the fun one. You're going to the one where your liver is painfully pecked out by a huge eagle, you'll bleed to death, painfully, and in the morning, wake up with a new liver to go through it all over again. Your arms and legs are bound to a tree, and the ropes hurt all the time. And it never ceases and you never relax and you never die, just feel pain and fatigue and pain all the time. Asshole.

Right-click protection doesn't work, unfortunately. All the paint-shop programs have screen capture features, then you just crop the part you want to keep. If people want to steal, they'll find a way.

Oh honey I am so sorry. *hugs* You know I can relate to this on a much smaller scale. If you want to talk/vent, I am here. And we *still* need to go to lunch one of these days!!!
