This is my first attempt at posting though Semagic - one of those little programs that lets you post without going to the LJ website. We'll see how it works...

What methods does everyone else use for posting to LJ? I know some of you must have paid accounts - those probably have a lot more options than my little freebie account, but I'd still be interested in hearing about it...

Hugs to all - I'm thinking of taking the day off and going to my sister's to play with my lovely, adorable, super-smart, clever, funny, beautiful, sweet 2 1/2 year old niece Emma.

Usually the portal (http://www.livejournal.com/portal/) - lots of handy quick links from there. I use Semagic to post to custom friends groups, because posting with that option doesn't work on the site with Opera (Opera's Javascript is screwy).

I have an lj client at home that I downloaded from LJ, but I don't use it. I always post from the webpage. I usually have it open anyway. I don't think that paid accounts have any different ways of posting. The one posting advantage that paid accounts do have is that they use the faster servers, so your posts don't go off into internet never-never land.

I wanted to use the Visions program, but it has a fatal dll error that hasn't been fixed even though people keep posting messages about the damn thing. So I downloaded the Semen (?) one. But I am having problems with it as it sometimes won't connect, so I have to cut and paste my message into the web.
