Lots more Latter Days caps

I did a whole bunch of screen caps late last night, and decided to make a category for them in my InXplicable gallery. This one isn't protected like my QAF gallery, so you don't have to register with the site if you don't want to. You'll find it here. Again - the caps are free to be used however you feel like using them - no credit needed.
I also made some icons... you can see all of them here, but here's a couple of examples:

Please credit me in your keywords if you use one of them. I'd very much appreciate it.
And lastly, one more quote from the movie:
Christian: "What... just call 1-800-Tortured-Mormon?"
Julie: "Probably. It sounds like there are enough of them."
So true. And while 1-800-Tortured-Mormon may not really exist, there are a number of websites that serve basically the same purpose. Seriously.

I ♥ you... I ♥ you... I ♥ you... I ♥ you... I ♥ you... I ♥ you... I ♥ you... I ♥ you... I ♥ you...
Seriously, you have no idea. That was one of my favorite lines in the whole movie and it's so, so, so right. *sigh*
Great icons. I saved them to my harddrive along with your name. If I use them, of course I'll credit you, but for now I'm at my max. :( I always am. *sigh*
You're wonderful. :D I'm going to buy this DVD in... *checks calendar*... 18 days. Can't wait. :) Oh, and did you know there's a mini-article about it in the recent Out? Or is it the Advocate? I get them on the same day (international delivery) so I usually get them confused. Anyway, if you haven't seen it, LMK and I'll double check for you. :)
LY!! *hugs*

Date: Tuesday, September 7th, 2004 12:49 pm (UTC)I can't believe I didn't make note of that line the first time through. I noticed it, but didn't write it down. I'm going to use it as a sig. line in some of my emails from now on, I think.
I haven't seen the article you mentioned... which magazine was it in? If the article isn't available on the web, can you scan it or at least paraphrase what it says? I'd love to know what they thought of it.
You still didn't tell me if you're going to be on the east coast or the west coast when you come to the states this time. You have to let me know next time you're out here in California.

Date: Tuesday, September 7th, 2004 12:58 pm (UTC)I really love that line. I think it's incredibly appropriate. Sure, it can be construed as harsh to some, and so I probably wouldn't use it as a sig myself (knowing me and my 'open mouth insert foot' habit, I'd end up using it in an email to the wrong person!), but it's really a good one and I agree with it 100%.
Actually, the mention isn't an article, it's just a "mention" - sorry. I just found it again. It's in Out (Sept 04) p. 100. It just has a pic of the cover of the book (paperback) and says that the top three reasons you should buy the DVD are:
1) New hairstyles
2) Music videos
3) Slo-mo the sex scenes (LOL)
If you want, I can scan it to you - no problem. Just LMK.
East coast this time. I'll be on the west coast in the spring, if they approve my application to grad school to the point of interviews. Wish me luck!!

Date: Tuesday, September 7th, 2004 07:27 am (UTC)Do you know if there is a major difference between the R rated version and the Unrated?
I'm trying to think of like, American Pie the unrated version and the only difference I remembered in it was that it had some extended scenes.

Date: Tuesday, September 7th, 2004 03:10 pm (UTC)I don't know if this is accurate or not, but I heard that the rated R version cuts out some of the nudity and sex scenes, especially once scene early in the film when the Christian character tricks. So I went with the Unrated version myself. *G*

The booboo scene makes me wibbly. So hot and sweet and funny and angsty.
Thanks Jen!

Date: Tuesday, September 7th, 2004 02:02 pm (UTC)On that we completely agree!
But I'm quite certain we can become devoted friends for life... or something slightly less cheesy sounding. :-)
LOL! I'd say we should get matching tattoos but I don't want anything that I can't easily get rid of if I stop liking it, and that includes tattoos and husbands.
I can't think of any icon requests off-hand. Maybe their first kiss. That was nice. Or the kiss in the snow.

Date: Tuesday, September 7th, 2004 05:50 pm (UTC)Anyway, give me an idea of what you'd like, and yes - I'd be happy to make it for you. :-)
And YAY! for ordering the movie!! LOL Sounds like a cliche, but you'll laugh and cry - both of sorrow and joy - the whole gamut of emotions... and come away loving these boys and their circle of friends. It's an amazing movie.
