I'm feeling a little bit better about the computer situation, but not really because anything good happened. I've just resigned myself to the fact that the external hard drive isn't going to work (sorry Quinn!). I called my brother and he's going to overnight his data migration software and cables to me on Tuesday ('cause Monday's a holiday, damn it all). So I'm resigned to not really being able to do much until Wednesday afternoon.

I did, however, manage to import all my old emails and my address book and favorite places into Outlook Express and Internet Explorer, so I'm very happy about that. Makes things slightly more normal. I had burned those files to cd-rom yesterday. I've now moved my CD-RW drive into the new 'puter, for irritating reasons I won't go into here, and I'm not gonna move it back and forth between computers, so I won't be burning anymore old files and moving them that way. But if there's anything I really need off the old hard drive I can just .zip it and upload it to my web server and then download to the new 'puter.

Dell tech support is pissing me off to no end. They keep all the past emails in the new email when replying, and I've been doing the same, but when they have to switch to a different support person, does that person bother going back and reading what we've already tried? NO. I bet she's blonde (no offense to blondes)... her name is Venus. LOL No offense to anyone - except her - named Venus. But she just sounds like a ditz.

Rewatched Gale in his two Street Time eps earlier tonight. He and Erika Alexander play off each other so well... and Gale is just made for that part. Love it sooooo much. And love [livejournal.com profile] mi_nion for converting "Gone" into mp3 format! If I really pretend, I can almost believe it's really Gale singing. But not quite.

In closing, I present the beauty that is Steve Sandvoss' pubes. See icon. Don't take icon though, please?

Hey Jen, just a thought since many of the Latterdays fans prefer Rebekah's singing to what's on soundtrack, if someone can get me a clip of it I can convert that to mp3 as well.

Oh I know what you mean, I love Geoff, In fact I have Yahoo group for him heh : ). Oh and Gone is performed and written by a group named Lindey, but I haven't been able to find anymore info since then.

You should join in the conversation on Randall Morgan's yahoo group about who performed "Gone." Lindey was mentioned, but there's some doubt about the truth of that info...
