Need movie recs

jenepherreLet's pretend ::cough:: that I've seen practically no new movies in the past 6 years. I just joined Blockbuster Online, and I need recommendations. What (other than The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) do you recommend? I like romance, but not too mainstream. I like drama. I like some sci-fi. Anything with a gay theme will go to the top of the list. But I'm open to anything you want to recommend.

ETA: I knew this kind of post would get a fair number of responses, but wow. Now I might have to actually keep my Blockbuster Online membership. LOL You can keep reccing, but I think my list is long enough for now, and plenty of them are currently available too. Thanks everybody!

The difference between the two (IMO) is you get all these undertones that about Japenese society that are part of the reason that he starts taking dance lessons and why he keeps it a secret. I'm really bad at describing stuff, but sereaously, it's a good movie. Bravo sometimes airs it as well.
