iPods again

Just to let you guys know - I now have 8 people signed up under me. If you really want to sign up under me, I guess that's okay (although there are plenty of other people who could use your sign up under them), but I'll only be doing wallpapers/icons for those first 8. That's more than I was planning to do as it is.

If you're looking for people to sign up under you, feel free to post a reply to this message with your link in it. Maybe someone skimming through my LJ will see it and sign up under you since they don't need to sign up under me.

Jen - how many of yours have been confirmed as of yet? I've got 2, so I'm still waiting on three more. I just hope three more go through, since I have a total of 6 additional people who signed up under me. One of them, I think, told me she wouldn't complete the offer (she's international and wasn't able to find an offer she could register for), so that leaves me with 5, 3 of which need to complete.

OK, sorry - didn't mean to bore you. What I basically was trying to find out is, how long did, on average, the finalizing process take for your 5 people?

None have been confirmed yet, but depending on the offer they chose that could easily take a month or more. The Blockbuster offer is the fastest to complete, but even it is two weeks plus however long it takes them to register the offer as complete, which can take a few weeks in itself, I think.

I'm not really expecting to get an iPod before Christmas, to be honest. It'll take some time.

I just signed up for the free Ipod thingy. I found it through quinn222 and since she requested that we sign up under one of the listed names I chose you because I recognized the name from your website. I see now that you have all the offers you need and I was curious if there was any way for me to transfer that offer to someone who is still lacking. thanx :)

I don't know of any way to transfer it to someone else, no. But to be honest, I've pretty much given up on the iPod thing. Of the 8 people signed up under me, not one of them has completed an offer - which they have to do in order for me to get an iPod. And if they're trying for an iPod, same thing. They have to complete an offer. Like I said... pretty much given up on it. So technically, even if you're one of my 8 people, I still need you. Because I need 5 people to complete offers and no one has.

Well then, nevermind :) I thought that maybe you had all the offers you needed. I completed the DVD offer (I forget what it's called). It hasn't shown up yet, but I'm told that it can take awhile. I just did it last Thursday so I really have no idea when it will be completed. I may end up giving up on this too and just buying myself an ipod. Thanks for answering me and I hope that my offer put you one step closer to getting an ipod in 2006!
