Pimping a great new community..

I would like to get enough members (from all over the place) so I can have people volunteer for specific states and countries. These people will be in charge of providing information on local charities so others who live in that area will know what they can do to help and how they can get involved.

What do you say, peeps? Good idea, huh? Hey shimmergirl - maybe you could join and keep us up to date on Destination Foundation's projects?!

Thanks for the link. I've joined. Do you know if it will be more focused on money donations, or more focused on volunteering and other more hands-on forms of help? I tend to be more interested in the latter, but will keep an eye on it in any case.

I actually haven't talked to her about it, but from the sound of her post, I think it'll be the latter also, although undoubtedly there will be occasional fund raising efforts. I'd thank you for joining, but that makes it sound like I'm a mod or something on the community, which I'm not. LOL Glad you joined anyway!

I joined. My work schedule is crazy, but I'll do what I can.
