Pimpin' some friends...

The supremely cool Lois, who some of you may know from Yahoo groups like Rrambles and BJfic and various other places, finally gave in and signed up for LJ. You can find her here: llvoncan She thinks nobody will ever read her LJ. hahaha

Actually, there's another Rrambler who got an LJ recently too, but I don't know if she's actually going to post in it or just use it for commenting: the hilarious Preston, who's always keeping us entertained with jokes and stuff on Rrambles. She's at: osumb75

I'm not sure if either one of them know how to friend people yet, so don't worry if you don't get friended back right away. I'm just sayin'... ;-P

I think I friended all the 3, count them 3 people who had friended me. Thanks for the pimping. It's gonna take a while to get used to this. I'll probably spend a bit of time looking at others LJ's but one thing I DO want is an icon. Can you help me go about how to do that.

Icons? Nah, nobody really likes to use them. OKAY, only kidding - I, personally, purchased EXTRA ICON SPACE, because I'm such an icon whore. Are you looking for specific icons? There are lj communities all over the place that house icons for you to use (and credit, omg, don't forget to credit). Pretty much anything your little heart desires has been or can be iconized. It's SO fun!

Yep - you did good! Although you have even more friends now... you have to check that periodically.

Did you get my email with info about friending and icons and stuff? I'm not sure if I have your current email address or not. If you didn't get the email, let me know what addie I should be sending to, okay?

I downloaded some pictures of B & J but they are either too big or the file too large. How do I make them thumbnail size??

Hey Lois - sorry I'm so slow responding. Been having a tough time of it lately.

If you want to send me the files, I'll make them into icons for you. Or were you wanting to learn how to do it yourself? There are some good icon-making tutorials out there. You will need some basic knowledge of either Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro though.
