Our power was out for most of the day today. No explanation as to why - maybe it'll say something in tomorrow's local newspaper. My town here has had more problems with power... apparently the power grid is just old and ::shrug:: I don't know. It's not like I live out in the boonies or anything. It's getting really irritating though. At the very least, I think I'd like to get one of those hand crank powered radios that also has a jack where you can plug in and charge your cell phone. Good thing to have if there's an emergency anyway, right?

It's been mentioned on one of the SPN communities that if you don't have a Neilson box, downloading from iTunes can actually help the ratings for the show... that they do count the downloads. And... I'm in the market for a laptop computer. I'd love to hear suggestions and personal experiences and all that. Keep in mind that I do a lot of graphics and some video editing, so I need a little more power than the average user. While I'm tempted to look at Macs, my favorite graphics editing program - which I use daily - isn't available for Mac, so... hmmm. Probably not a Mac. But still... very open to suggestions.
