I'm gakking this from myself. I did it a long time ago, and then whatever site was hosting the images stopped hosting them, so my result didn't show up anymore. But I really liked it and just found it again. hehehehe

From the same site:
you are steelblue
#4682B4
Your dominant hues are cyan and blue. You like people and enjoy making friends. You're conservative and like to make sure things make sense before you step into them, especially in relationships. You are curious but respected for your opinions by people who you sometimes wouldn't even suspect.

Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.

Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.

That's pretty damn accurate, I think.

In other news, I had my 'annual' cancer check up yesterday. My doc pretty much said I have nothing to worry about, and yet he wants to see me again in 6 months rather than a year. We went a year this last time. And I'm 12 years out from my diagnosis and surgery. And about 8 years out since my last radiation treatment. But my lab results were fine. I always make the nurse give me a copy of them, and I've been dealing with this long enough that I know how to interpret them.

Oh - for my newer friends - we're talking thyroid cancer. Papillary thyroid adenocarcinoma. I had my thyroid gland removed, which mostly took care of it. Anyway... I could go on and on, but let me just say that despite the fact that this cancer has a survival rate in the 90% range, I still wouldn't wish it on anybody. Ugh. Synthetic thyroid hormone pills do NOT adequately compensate for losing the thyroid gland.

In other, happier news, I'm going to Las Vegas at the end of this month and I get to meet [livejournal.com profile] ozbrat and lots of other cool people and I get to see Gale's film "Wake!!!!" I'm so excited!!! If anyone else on my friends list is going, will you let me know? I need to find someone or several someones to split hotel room costs with.

'kay. I think that's enough for now. Sending positive vibes out to [livejournal.com profile] mlleelizabeth as she has surgery to repair her broken arm and dislocated wrist this morning. (((((((((((Liz)))))))))))

Hugs

OK, baby, you'll be fine. I know. I'm only one year out of my surgery, and I know I'm fine. I think back to pre-surgical status and I know that I felt different, that something felt wrong. If you think back, you'll think the same thing. You knew something was up. If, gods forbid it happens again, you'll know, baby. I'm sure of it.

Blessings and I hope all goes well, again, today!

I am 10 weeks post op surgery for Endometrial Adenocarcinoma (uterine cancer). AND I have a pituitary adenoma that I get annual MRI's to monitor. My sister had what you had but they radiated her thyroid. She too takes synthroid, so I know a little of what you are feeling.
I had a 90% sucesse rate too, but the big C always shakes your foundation.

Keep your chin up and have fun in Vegas!

Us cancer survivors are like a little (or unfortunately, not so little) family, aren't we? It's a shared experience that can't fully be understood by someone who hasn't been through it - no matter how empathetic they are.

Cancer runs on my mom's side of the family, but I'm the first of my generation to have it. Grandma had melanoma, uncle had prostate and later brain tumors - which he died from, aunt had uterine, and last year my mom had breast. Sucks, but all of us have gotten through it, except my uncle when he had to go through it a second time. It does shake you up, that's for sure.

Pituitary would be scary... that's not easy to treat if it does go bad... I hope you and your sis are doing well and continue to do well for a long, long time.

We're both fine, thankfully.

My pituitary thingy refuses to shrink, but has stopped growing, so other than annual MRI and bloodwork (4 of the biggest vials you ever did see), no probs.

Sis is maintaining on the synthroid.

I hope you are the last in your family to have to deal with the big C-it's a pain.

Glad to hear the good news, hon!

And have a blast in Lost Wages (Vegas, that is). I've seen "Wake," and you're in for a treat.

Well, I don't gamble... or work for that matter... so no 'lost wages' for me. LOL!

So... I guess that means you're not coming? ::pouts::

Unfortunately between jury duty and co-workers taking off on vacations, I'm stuck here at the end of the month. :sobs:

I can't help you with the hotel room...but I am going to be there and hopefully we can all meet up. I would love to get together and have dinner or something before the movie. Then possibly hit the casinos or something after! I am only going to be there late friday night through sunday morning.
