Brian's black shirt from ep. 204 just sold for $1,375.00

(Just as a comparison, Michael's jacket just sold for $192.50. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4720381481 ::snerk:: Yeah, so I'm not a Michael fan - this is not news. I have nothing against people who like Michael - I just don't happen to be one of them.)

And the Rage comic #2 went for $531.76. Way over the $300 limit I was allowing myself. Damn.

To the person who bought the Rage comic - any chance you'll scan it so the rest of us can enjoy it too? Pretty please? [livejournal.com profile] madness2 and I will both make pretty wallpapers from it and credit you for the scans! I promise!!

I cannot believe how much this stuff is going for!

One of the little 'metal men' that was sitting in the loft that we really only saw once or twice (granted, one memorable time was the scene in 214 when Justin topped Brian) just sold for $710.00. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4720387301

I'm never going to get anything from the set sale. Anything worth having is way the fuck out of my price range. :-(

Exactly! Which just goes back to my earlier post where I was wondering Why the fuck didn't CowLip auction some of this stuff off for charity??? (Please excuse the bold and the swearing.)

I think the Rage comic might hold some value, but I don't think the clothing will. Especially since none of the clothing actually has certificates of authenticity. But... whatever. There will always be people out there willing to spend this kind of money on fan-related items. Which is why it bugs me so much that CowLip didn't think to do a charity auction. Or couldn't be bothered or whatever. Think of all the good this money could have done? ::shaking head::

I agree with you 100% about the charity thing...there are so many organizations who could really have benefitted, especially given the (oft-times) ridiculous prices these items are fetching.

But, given as to how CowLip/Showtime seem to just want to get the show over and done with, I'm not surprised that they didn't. Probably too much work.
